When Senators want to appear sensible

By a rather large 79-20 majority, the United States Senate has backed repeal of the medical device tax levied to fund a tiny fraction of Obamacare. Obviously, the majority included many Democrats. Equally obviously, the vote was non-binding, and therefore cheap. No matter, those of us who believe medical technology is important to the future of our economy and our own quality of life warm our hands over small fires these days. Now let's move forward with the real thing.
