How 2013 looks like 1937

Amity Shlaes, author of the superb book The Forgotten Man: A New History of the Great Depression(which Defending Enterprise unreservedly recommends), notes the similarities between 2013 and 1937, the year after FDR's re-election. We hope she is wrong, for that was in some ways the most difficult period of the entire Great Depression.
