Niall Ferguson and the burden of the rule of law

My favorite contemporary historian, Niall Ferguson, on the "rule of law" in the United States "becoming the rule of lawyers." Worth three minutes of your day.

I have read several of his books, including the fascinating The Ascent of Money: A Financial History of the World.

  1. Thought provoking, to say the least. Some of his points are ones I've always suspected, but could never put into words. Thanks for posting this!
