There is a reason why nobody remembers this sort of thing happening in New Jersey: Texas startups deliver business pitches at Cowboys Stadium. No, it isn't state taxes or other policy. There are plenty of start-ups in California, which has horrible policy. The difference is attitude. Do you live in a fearful place that reflexively protects the status quo, or an open and optimistic place? That is your choice.
