Er, Iowa start-ups?

Defending Enterprise grew up in Iowa, and often compares notes on Iowa-oriented issues with others in the considerable Hawkeye State diaspora. Only a few American states have more self-identification than Iowa, and Iowans promote positive factoids about the place like nobody's business. A fried of mine from Storm Lake calls this "Iowa propaganda," and I think he is right.

Anyway, here is some Iowa propaganda germane to the spirit of enterprise. Maybe some of that hot North Dakota shale oil cash will makes its way to Iowa to fund some of these ideas.
