Crony Watch: Another toll of ethanol subsidies

The federal government's absurd biofuels initiative is taking a toll on the world's poor. Ordinarily, this is the sort of thing that would drive the left bananas, but one gets the sense that they do not want to irritate the Greens.

    I don't care about corn. But it's usually a good idea to check out the arguments on the other side.

  2. Yeah, DEC, I was too rushed. I should know better than to believe the NYT. I'll take a look at your link. Question: Any chance that white corn is being diverted to second order uses, behind the corn used for biofuel?

  3. The link offers more info, Def Ent. My knowledge about corn doesn't go much beyond candy corn and corny jokes.
