CO2 and life expectacy

An interesting example of fun with statistics that may, or may not, have merit: the high and direct correlation between CO2 emissions and human life expectancy. Point, I suppose, is that one cannot cherry pick the health consequences of regulation at the margin, especially if that regulation damages our material standard of living. Or, getting rich as a nation often means that some people die in order that many more can live. Both socialists and libertarians would benefit from thinking on that.
