Ubering up

We have long been following the attempts by regulators to shut down the several different start-ups that use crowdsourcing methods to source rides from taxis, limousines, and even private citizens driving somewhere. These are cool companies that promise to bring great convenience to people in cities who want to move around by car.

With that background, we commend to you this story in the Wall Street Journal, an interview with the founder of Uber, the granddaddy of these companies. There are some useful lessons in there for any business that threatens the status quo.
